Nine years of listening to couples has shaped every corner of this place. The whole site is licensed — from the whitewashed Long Barn and open-sided Open Barn to the Dining Room, the front lawn, the Motte & Bailey Mound and the oak field. No two couples choose the same spot, and no two ceremonies look the same. That’s exactly as it should be.
Whitewashed walls, oak beams, trailing ivy and fairy lights — the Long Barn is one of those spaces that works whatever the weather and whatever the occasion. Measuring 20 x 5m, it seats up to 90 guests for a ceremony, works beautifully as an intimate dinner space the night before, and doubles as a dance floor or games room later in the evening. Available all year round.
A large open-sided barn with hay bale seating and views across the oak fields and woodland beyond. It seats up to 120 guests for a ceremony and has a natural warmth and informality that couples love. By night it becomes a dance floor, bar or chill-out space — entirely your call.
Two canvas awnings available to hire and position anywhere on site. Use them for your ceremony, an al fresco dining area or simply to add shade and shelter across the weekend. Flexible, beautiful and available wherever you want them.
A south-facing lawn enclosed by an ivy wall and covered in fairy lights — central to the site and one of the most popular ceremony spots at Wilde Lodge. Spacious enough for a full gathering, with the option to add a sail tent for shelter if needed. Outdoor ceremony licence applies.
A wild meadow under two huge oak trees, with far-reaching views across the Welsh hills. A genuinely spectacular setting for an outdoor ceremony — one of the most dramatic spots on the whole site. Available from 2027. Outdoor ceremony licence applies.
A raised mound sitting above the River Teme, surrounded by trees and open countryside. Walking your guests up to the mound builds real anticipation — there’s nowhere else quite like it at Wilde Lodge. Intimate, memorable and completely unique. Outdoor ceremony licence applies.
An open field overlooking the lodge and surrounding woodland — wildflowers, open sky and space for a larger outdoor gathering or an external marquee. A relaxed, natural setting that suits couples who want something a little less formal. Outdoor ceremony licence applies.
