Wilde Lodge venues are the ultimate destination for stag and hen parties — exclusive use of acres of stunning Welsh countryside, flexible spaces, and the freedom to add only the extras you want. Hire the 16ft solid oak bar for custom cocktails, set up an outdoor cinema under the stars, or host your own Olympic Games complete with rubber duck racing, frisbee golf, and rounders. Pick and choose your activities and pay separately for whatever fits your group's style and budget.

Hosting a Wilde party at Wilde Lodge is all about making it your own in an invigorating setting. You choose your dates and the number of guests, then either add on activities like inflatable obstacle courses or outdoor cooking courses when booking, or talk to our team to build a custom package afterwards. The choice is entirely yours—whether you want something on our list or something unique, we’ll find it for you, ensuring your celebration is as individual and memorable as the place itself.

Accommodation on site
Stay in comfort inside with options from 7 to 14 in large bedrooms with zip and link beds, or opt for additional guests in luxury bell tent villages, camping, or local accommodation. All options are designed to let your group celebrate together, whether it’s a weekend of parties or a relaxed retreat.

Stags & Hens
How far in advance do we need to book?
As far ahead as possible for summer dates, which tend to go quickly. Winter dates are generally more flexible. Get in touch and we’ll tell you exactly what’s available.
Is there Wi-Fi at both venues?
Yes — Wi-Fi is available at both Wilde Lodge and Glasbury River Cottage.
Can we bring our own music and have a DJ or band?
Yes — we’ve hosted plenty of both over the years. At Wilde Lodge the safari tent and barns are well suited to live music and DJs. At Glasbury the hay barn works well for smaller setups. We’ll talk you through the practicalities when you book. We do ask that music is kept to a reasonable level after 11pm.
Do you have activity providers you can recommend?
Yes — once you’ve booked we’ll send you our full supplier list and help you choose based on your group size and what you’re planning. Archery, coracle building, outdoor cooking, inflatable obstacle courses and plenty more.
Can we split a stag and hen party across both venues?
Absolutely — it’s a great option. The stags at Wilde Lodge, the hens at Glasbury River Cottage, and everyone together for the main event. Both venues are around 40 minutes apart. Get in touch and we’ll help you figure out the logistics.
How many guests can you accommodate for a stag or hen party?
Wilde Lodge sleeps 16–20 in the house, with bell tents and camping in summer meaning the whole group can stay on site. Glasbury River Cottage sleeps 7, with bell tents available in summer for up to 30 guests in total.
Where are your stag and hen venues located?
Wilde Lodge is in Knighton, Powys, on the Welsh Borders — around two hours from Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff. Glasbury River Cottage is near Hay-on-Wye in Herefordshire, around two and a half hours from London.
