Wilde lodge is spectacular, so many amazing spaces and beautiful views. Even now we are still getting messages from friends and family gushing about how fantastic the day was, how relaxed and comfortable they felt and about how you all, without exception made them feel at home and welcome.

It’s impossible to accurately describe how beyond satisfied we were - beautiful home, incredibly clean, comfortable beds, stunning location and surroundings, and incredibly responsive and proactive hosts who ensured our stay was everything we needed. As a group, we would each recommend Wilde Lodge to anyone looking for a break in the country seeking a comfortable and relaxing space in peaceful surroundings. Thank you so much for having us. We had the most incredible wedding weekend at Wilde Lodge. The setting is breathtaking, with stunning views and a calm, welcoming atmosphere that made it feel so special. Having on-site accommodation for our guests, plus the option for bell tents, meant we could enjoy the whole weekend together—which was exactly what we wanted.

We had a fantastic weeks stay at the Lodge, it was everything we hoped and more. Stunning house and setting. Great living and dinning space and the outside barn with the dartboard was a winner for our teenage boys. Not far from Knighton which has everything you could need as well as Offa's Dyke. Jemma was an amazing host and always there with any questions we had. Can't recommend it enough.

We had a lovely stay at Wilde Lodge. A lovely tranquil setting which was ideal for two young families. Loads of space both inside and out including use of the barn and outhouse. Lots of space for the children to run around outside. Lovely open fires and large firepit outside. Great location near to Ludlow. Mortimer Forest is well worth a visit for a walk. Great communication and nothing was too much trouble for Jemma, Kevin and Phoebe. We would definitely come back for a further visit!

We welcome all our couples back at Wilde Lodge and love seeing their families and lives grow and extending our friendship. Amy and Tom were married in the Long barn with their feast in the safari tent. My memory of their day was definitely Amy's dress and how utterly relaxed and at ease both Amy & Tom looked on the day.

I think Martha and Nick were almost our second wedding at the lodge - and as a local wedding it was very special to us. We have loved keeping in touch with them and for me the best part of their wedding was their gender reveal to all their guests as a surprise - it was so sweet.

We booked Wilde Lodge without even seeing it because we knew straight away this was the place for us! The venue was gorgeous, set in such beautiful countryside with a wild swimming river that was perfect for our day after hangovers. We truly couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue or experience, if you’re thinking of booking Wilde Lodge I would urge you to do it, the best venue in the world.

Wilde Lodge was the absolute dream venue for our perfect day, and it went down as perfectly as we could have imagined! The space in the long barn for the ceremony and the safari tent for the wedding breakfast was ideal for our wedding of 70 people. We also used the Lodge and bell tents for our close family which all worked so well All the extra activities and seating areas are fantastic and meant our wedding guests could spread out and relax. Jemma made us feel so welcome and at home at the Lodge when we viewed to venue a year before the wedding and myself, my husband and our two small children all agreed immediately that we were going to get married there!! We would 100% recommend Wilde Lodge to everyone and so well uld all of our guests! Thank you so much Wilde Lodge team

If you are looking for a venue that is stunning everywhere you look then you have found it! With gorgeous countryside, a river, a beautiful lodge and so many spaces to use for creativity to flow, this is such a special venue. We had the whole weekend to celebrate and Jemma and the team met us with nothing but encouragement, support and excitement about the plan we envisioned. They really did help make our weekend such a dream and I can’t thank them or recommend them enough.

Nick, from Origins Pizza and the other half of Bea! Quite simply the most delicious fresh pizzas with homemade fresh bases stretched in front of your eyes, to the best toppings. We love the Nduja honey and cinnamon dough balls, but not together obviously!

Bea, the other half of Nick from Origins Pizza. Such talented, warm gracious humans we are thrilled to introduce you too. With this very cool off road landie comes good coffee and most importantly espresso martinis. PERFECT in our opinion for Friday night or Sunday mornings at the lodge.

New to the lodge for 2025 - we are thrilled to have found Kieran and Natalie. Their flavours and cooking is so inventive, packed full of flavour and they are so adaptable to the lodge and our flexible style that they can really cater to each of our couples requests.

Just over the hill is our local ice cream supplier, Helen. She serves ice cream in such pretty ice cream bikes & trailers so well suited to the lodge either outside under the open barn or for the next day as a hangover treat!
