Pillows on a bed

Resting your head

There are plenty of ways to stay at Wilde Lodge — from the warmth of seven bedrooms in the house to a glamping village of bell tents tucked into the garden, or charming local stays just a short drive through the valley. Wherever you choose, you’ll find space that fits the flow and feel of your celebration.

Local Accommodation

For guests looking to stay nearby we provide links for all of our favourites nearby so your guests don’t have to spend hours searching, we have done all of the work. This is part of our belief in promoting our local neighbours and their fabulous accommodation. Once you have booked we create a hub page for you and all of these links for your guests to see

The Lodge

Inside the main lodge there are 7 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms.

Each bedroom has zip and link beds, giving you huge flexibility in bed formation. We can sleep 16 – 20 guests depending on how you set up each bedroom. Take a look at the floor plan for a detailed map.

Garden Bell Tents on raised platforms

We have three very special bell tents set up on raised platforms in the front garden. Each tent includes beds, mattresses, linen, thick duvets, extra quilts,  hot water bottles & electricity.

They are available from 1st May to 30th September, with full access to the main lodge throughout their stay.

Each tent sleep 2 per tent in either king or 2 singles.

Guests can book and pay for these bell tents directly with us, so there’s no need for you to cover the cost.

Bell Tent Village

Behind the walled garden, overlooking the woodland beyond there is a field (40 x 30m) mowed and ready to take an entire bell tent village. Complete with a getting ready tent for these guests (with electricity, sofas & mirrors!) these guests will be camping under the stars but not scrimping on comfort.

Guests can book and pay for these bell tents directly with us, so there’s no need for you to cover the cost.

Extras to consider: For camping guests a portable toilet and shower unit is required for any overnight guests as we are on septic tanks here, but also because you don’t really want to share your bathroom with 100 of your friends! We use Nomadic Washrooms, who offer high-quality units and 24-hour on-call support—which is essential for weekend bookings.

BYO Camping

You can either have a mix of bell tents or camping or just have camping guests, it is entirely up to you. And you can have as many as you like for as long as you like!

Guests are sent a booking link and can pay directly for a pitch.
