Glasbury is opening for licensed weddings from 1 April 2027. Until then we’re hosting celebrant-led ceremonies and intimate celebrations — and honestly, the freedom that comes with a celebrant is something a lot of couples prefer. No format to follow, no registrar timings to work around. Just the words that matter, in a place that was made for exactly this.
The River Wye on your doorstep, the Black Mountains rising behind you and five completely different spaces to choose from. Wherever you say your vows here, the setting does the rest.

Candlelit, vine-covered and looking straight out to the Black Mountains. The greenhouse is being completely rebuilt and reopens 1 April 2027 — with underfloor heating, fairy lights and space for up to 30 guests. One of the most beautiful intimate ceremony spaces in the Welsh Borders.

Our favourite spot for a ceremony at Glasbury. Gather your guests beneath the old hay barn or take your vows on the wooden deck above, with the Wye Valley stretching out all around you. Covered, atmospheric and completely unlike a traditional wedding venue.

A 6 x 9m canvas tent available to hire and position anywhere on the property. Set it up in the walled garden with the Black Mountains behind you, or out in the wild meadow overlooking the Wye Valley. Two completely different looks — you choose.

South-facing, sheltered and a natural sun trap, with the Black Mountains straight ahead. Vines climbing the walls, wildflowers at your feet and open sky above. One of the prettiest outdoor ceremony spots in Herefordshire.
Right beside the cottage, with the Wye Valley spread out below and the sound of the river close by. A completely natural, open-air setting for couples who want their ceremony to feel like the landscape they’re in — wild, unhurried and real.
