A 3-bedroom riverside cottage with a greenhouse, a hay barn and views straight to the Black Mountains. Zip-and-link beds throughout, a walk-in shower and roll-top bath downstairs, a big upstairs deck for watching the bats come out. Small, beautiful and completely yours.

Extras: Logs and coal, private chef, bike and canoe hire, bell tents and camping.
Bedrooms
3 bedrooms · Zip & link beds · Sleeps 7
Three bedrooms, all zip-and-link so they work as super kings or twins. Blackout blinds, mountain views and two bathrooms — a walk-in shower upstairs, a roll-top bath and walk-in shower downstairs.
The greenhouse
5 x 3m · Seats 14 · Fairy lights & vines
Vines, fairy lights and views to the Black Mountains. Equally good for a candlelit dinner or a quiet afternoon with a book. One of our favourite spots on the whole site.
Expanding in 2027, the greenhouse will be beautifully redesigned into a 14 x 5m haven, seating up to 30 guests beneath the stars.
Views from Upstairs
A wooden deck off the upstairs landing — plants, soft lighting and mountain views. Watch the bats come out at dusk, listen for owls across the valley, and keep an eye on the watering hole below.
Outdoors
Balcony & Hay Barn
10 x 7m · Seats 30 · Tables & chairs · Sheepskins
A huge covered barn with festoon lighting and views across the valley, opening up to a large wooden balcony. Al fresco dinners, late nights under blankets, or a beautiful space for an intimate celebration.
Included: Tables and chairs, sheepskins, festoon lighting.
The gardens
Walled Garden & Greenhouse · Wild Meadow & Hay Barn
Two distinct spaces. The front walled garden is sheltered, vine-covered and south-facing with views to the Black Mountains. The wild field at the back is open and relaxed — BBQs, games and watching the sun go down.
Camping & Glamping
Camping | Glamping | Total 30 guests (including the house guests)
Extend the fun outdoors! Our spacious garden can host up to four cosy bell tents on request, ready for your arrival. Teens get their own adventure tents (sleeping up to six per tent), while adults can glamp in comfort for two. Think soft beds, lanterns, and starry skies.
The River
200m from the front door. Fish, swim or follow the Wye Valley Walk toward Hay-on-Wye or Boughrood. A wide, beautiful river — good for adventure and equally good for doing nothing.
